Planting the seeds for a broad range of fruitful careers in horticulture begins here. Horticulture is the cultivation of flowers, fruits, vegetables, and ornamental plants. In this interdisciplinary degree program, you will learn to produce and market plants and flowers that may be sold to a landscape contractor, a lawn and garden super center or to a floral distributor.

Floriculture and Ornamental
Floriculture and Ornamental Horticulture is the science and art of producing, distributing, marketing, and using flowers, flowering and foliage plants, and woody ornamental landscape plants. As a graduate, you'll be open to a wide variety of employment opportunities at competitive salaries. The curriculum is grounded in plant and soil sciences courses and includes a required 12-week internship in a floral industry enterprise.
