Paul Fields
Paul Fields (Bachelor of Landscape Architecture 1989) began the first of three internships with Lambert Landscape Company in Dallas, Texas. Joining the firm full-time upon graduation, he quickly rose to the position of director of design. Fields has grown through multiple roles and is now the president and managing partner of the firm.
Raised by parents with a love of art, antiquing, architecture, and gardening, Fields began to learn his craft at an early age. Choosing landscape architecture as his career path in high school, he chose MSU in part due to the department's ties and shared resources with its landscape contracting and management program. Through study, travels, and a love of history, he has honed his talent with a concentration on traditional and classical landscape and garden design.
The Tennessee native has received numerous national and international awards, has gardens archived in The Smithsonian Institute, and has been featured in many national publications. Fields has been awarded an outstanding alumni award by the landscape architecture department and served on the boards of the Dallas Arboretum and various charitable and educational institutions.
He currently resides with his wife Tracy and daughter in Grapevine, Texas.
