William Morris
William H. "Bubba" Morris (Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Pest Management 1992 and Master of Science in Weed Science 1994) is the general manager for the South Central Division of Nutrien Ag Solutions, the retail business unit of Nutrien LTD, the world's largest provider of crop inputs and agricultural services. Morris manages sales and operations for more than two dozen sites in a multistate area, including Mississippi.
Morris is grateful for the multifaceted education and experiences he received at MSU that helped prepare him to serve in several positions at Nutrien and other agricultural companies as his career developed. He noted Dr. Bill Batson in plant pathology and Dr. Randy Luttrell in entomology went to great lengths to enrich his undergraduate learning experience, while Dr. David Shaw, his graduate professor, led his students to become well-rounded leaders in the industry.
Morris serves on the Department of Plant and Soil Sciences' advisory board and is also an avid supporter of MSU Bulldog Athletics, attending sporting events with family and friends. At Nutrien, Morris regularly turns to MSU for quality employment prospects for internships and long-term positions.
Morris resides with his wife, Carolee, on their family farm near Stanton, Tennessee. Their two daughters are MSU Bulldogs.
